Frankfort Falcons Cheer Program

All Cheerleaders who sign up are STRONGLY encouraged to do both the football and competition season.  However, we understand that this is not always feasible, so please note if you do decide to only do football season, the practices will be limited compared to our competition practices. Football only practices are in July and August with 2 practices twice per week (approximately 12 practices). All “football” practices are held outdoors at Main Park. The athletes cheer at all weekend home and away games in good and bad weather. Games are mandatory and athletes are only allowed 2 absences.

Competition team run from July through December. Competition team practices 1 day per week in July and August and 3 to 4 days from September through December. The majority of competition practices are indoors but there can be some outdoor practices. Falcons participate in a minimum of 3 competitions that run between September and November and some teams do advance to the state competition the first weekend in December.  Competition practices start in July and are mandatory.  We understand things come up and each coach is willing to work with you individually but in order to have a successful practice the attendance of all is required.  Right before a competition an “extra” practice may be called.  Falcons follow the ICA rules during our competition season.
